I was wondering why did you choose this test methodology. Since the 8700K preforms better than Ryzen in single threaded applications, i would expect it to have higher FPS readings naturally. Would a graph showing percentage of performance while streaming be a smart metric to show? (e.g. If the 8700K performs an average of 100 fps baseline and 80 fps while streaming, showing that streaming performance is 80% of baseline rather than the raw fps metric). If so, any chance you can show this in the upcoming Ryzen 2 review when it launches?” 08:51 – metalshark: “When AVX2/512 offsets are used and then an AVX2/512 instruction is executed how does the CPU know to return to full speed without the offset? Does it wait until next reboot, does it wait for 30 seconds of no AVX instructions, does it work on the basis of instructions being inside executable memory instead (therefore unloading releases the offset) or does it just keep ramping speeds up/down instantaneously? Also on AVX2/512 offsets does it affect all cores, or just those you’ve set affinity for?
