RE CLSK

CLSK CEO said they were done issuing stock, they sold stock to raise cash to explode their hash w modern rigs during the bear rather then take on debt and they will milk the proceeds of this during the bull

Team,

We have developed a new model to calculate stock dilution over the past year. Shout out to the dev team behind the scenes that make this info possible to share with the community.

This is a critical metric for investors to understand, as it can have a significant impact on the value of their shares. Companies are often reluctant to disclose how much they dilute their shares, but our model provides a more accurate picture.

Dilution is not necessarily a bad thing, as long as the proceeds are reinvested wisely. For example, if a mining company uses the proceeds from a stock dilution to purchase new mining rigs, this can increase the company's hashrate and profitability. However, if the proceeds are used to line executive pockets or fund other non-productive activities, this can be a red flag for investors.

I have included a table showing the stock dilution of some of the largest mining companies over the past year and a few others like GOOG and MSTR to compare.

As you can see, many of these companies have diluted their shares significantly. This is one of the reasons why the stock prices of many mining companies have not kept pace with the rise in Bitcoin price. Other main reason is fear miners will not make it post halving unless BTC price goes up. This is also true.

Note there is a cap on API calls so this is not a model we can share as it will blow up after 20 people hit it.

I increasingly feel miners not for me. Will hold my CLSK, but won't be adding more. Plan sell BITF once not so red!

My allocation is maxed out on these proxies. I am disappointed to see this area struggle, but I understand the business decision to stay competitive. I'm trying to think of another sector that takes as big of risks in equities, and nothing else comes to mind. EVs? Staying patient and holding for post halving outcome.
