Thanks. Not sure about this point of no return idea. Government has been able to inflate and grow its way out of debt in the past, post WW2. Granted that took both very painful inflation, and growth like we'll never see again unless some AI miracle happens. So we could see painful inflation, more inflation than predicted. Apparently for the trick to work, people have to believe inflation will be low, and thus get fooled into buying government debt, for which they will be getting pennies on the dollar back due to inflation. The trick is government both hiding inflation through statistical manipulation, and I suppose giving some false hope of low future inflation. Two government lies, to their own people.
