Beware Metamask Scam (Patreon)

Mark Cuban, billionaire entrepreneur and owner of the Dallas Mavericks, lost approximately $870,000 to a crypto scam on Friday. He believes he downloaded a compromised version of the MetaMask cryptocurrency wallet, which allowed the scammers to access his funds and drain his wallet.

Cuban is one of a number of high-profile individuals who have been targeted by crypto scams in recent months. These scams can be very sophisticated and difficult to detect, and even experienced investors can fall victim.
