May be alone on this, but I kinda feel safer investing in BTC than Tesla. Could it be argued that Tesla's success is dependent on Elon and his continued sanity and survival? What would happen to Tesla stock price if he died in an accident?

A good investment decision is the same at 30 or 60 years of age. Age is overrated…as a matter of fact when you are older you have more assets…and good decisions go way further. First million is the hardest.

My dad planted the seed of being an investor from an early age, but it’s funny that now as I’m middle aged, any exposure to crypto makes him see me as a degen, while also pulling me aside and asking “does that bitcoin still have a future?” Yes dad. Yes it does.

You could assign a probability to this and likely come out pretty well still, but it would be a very small percentage and the time it took to analyze it may not even be worth it. From someone who went from close to $2M down to $50k (FTX scam and other exchanges going bankrupt), I'd give anything to get back to where I was! Asset preservation is it.
