First Rule of Crypto - Don't Talk about Crypto (Patreon)

This is a harrowing story... but a lesson for us all. 

Lock down your security.  This has happened in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Eastern Europe but first case in the US that I have heard of lately. 

TLDR 

• An elderly couple in Durham, North Carolina was robbed of $156,000 in cryptocurrency.
• The robbery was carried out by two men who posed as construction workers.
• The men had been surveilling the couple's house for three days prior to the robbery.
• The men restrained the couple and threatened to kill them if they didn't cooperate.
• The men forced the husband to log into his Coinbase cryptocurrency account and transfer the money to them.
• The men smashed the couple's computer and phones before leaving.
• The couple was able to get help from a neighbor and was taken to the hospital.
• Arrest warrants have been issued for the two men.

• A third man, Jarod Gabriel Seemungal, was also charged with kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping.
• The men traveled from Florida to North Carolina to commit the crime.
• The husband told authorities that one of the men threatened to cut off his toes and genitalia, shoot him, and rape his wife if he didn't access his Coinbase account.
• The men were captured on surveillance video at a nearby gas station.
