I accidentally watched both parts. Oops. This was a blockbuster of an episode. 👏 Such a brilliant resolution to their time on new caprica.

I’ve noticed a few reaction videos of this episode where the reactor doesn’t quite seem to appreciate or get just how utterly epic and wild Adama’s plan was with jumping into the atmosphere. Its like people are not overly surprised when it happens because they dont realize just how audacious of a plan it was and didn’t notice how they carefully avoided any hint of what the actual plan was, beyond some drone decoys. Thats not a normal thing, not something that’s ever been done before, jumping a massive Battlestar in atmosphere and dropping it while launching vipers and jumping away half a second before impact. It was definitely legendary! I didn't see that bit coming and my mind was definitely processing what was happening. I'm not even sure if I fully registered it in the moment lol. Really cool!
