My favorite kind of movie! A perfect mix of horror and comedy, but the BEST part is the "evil" they were fighting.

Horror-Comedy is undoubtedly my 2nd favorite subgenre (after dumpster-fire-musicals, of course.) I own about 40 on dvd/blu but they're all too far down the rabbit hole for a reaction. So I ain't gonna list them. However: I will resuggest The Return of the Living Dead ('85) as aside from being tip-top, it's well known and worth a youtube edit, and one of the (THEE?) best horror comedies ever. And you'd really dig it a lot (...except the brief full nudity, I suppose.) As to musical train wrecks: Alan Tudyk (Tucker) is in Patch Adams with Philip Seymour Hoffman who's in Magnolia with Miriam 🍎 Margolyes.

I absolutely LOVE this movie! Tucker and Dale are basically the kind of good 'ol boys I grew up with - just good simple kind of men (in the Lynyrd Skynyrd meaning of the words, of course). I love the little quips and moments that just take you off guard with comedy in the middle of the scariest parts ("Die, Hillbilly!!" LOL) I do have to disagree with the hate the ending gets. I don't think it tarnishes the message at all. The one guy who acts like a darn monster the whole movie...turns out to be exactly what he seems to be to anyone with a brain (it's our luck that the movie counts us as one of that number). Judge by actions and not first impressions. Thank you for watching this! I'll almost always drop everything to watch this movie when it comes around, and today was no exception!

I'm thrilled to see this movie getting this kind of love. I had such a good time watching this and it took me by such surprise. Glad you enjoy it so much!
