I'm really glad you're enjoying this show! To address one of the things you said at the end there, one of the old jokes of the old show was that the budget was soooooo little, you could often see the zippers on the monster suits in the show itself. These two episodes, with the monsters who literally had zippers on their foreheads, was a call back to that old joke. I think each season the budget doubles or triples, or something like that. You'll notice every season just how striking it is how much more of a budget they had lol ... but the real charm of the show is in ignoring the special effects. You watch for the drama, the human connections, the story itself. :) Alright, five down ... let's get going!

This 2 parter is actually a political satire of the invasion of Iraq and the manufacturing of news about WMDs to justify war to profit off of. It's one of those stories that could have been one of the greatest of the entire show and then farting aliens completely overshadowed that aha
