Not the story I was expecting, even when I thought I knew what was going on, or called out some crazy theory it never occurred to me this was the story being told. A clever and inventive ghost story.

Although it is not a direct adaptation, there are many similarities between 'The Others' and Henry James' novella 'The Turn of the Screw', which was also made into a 1961 movie titled 'The Innocents' starring Deborah Kerr.

Chris: The Innocents (61), The Haunting (63), and The Legend of Hell House (73) are The *3* haunted house movies worth a gob of ectoplasm. Legend is the worst one that's also the MOST FUN!, fyi.
