I was a bit nit-picky on this one, but they delivered a finale filled with exciting moments and some great setups for the future. I also share my overall thoughts on the season that I won't spoil in here. Enjoy!

I’m seeing a lot of complaints about Gideon’s three-season-long plan getting destroyed by Din simply pressing a button, but I really loved it. He kind of appropriately ends up a lot like Pedro Pascal’s character in Game of Thrones, a guy who’s completely convinced he’s the main character of the story who can’t comprehend he’s just one small part of a much larger tapestry, and ultimately his insistence on taking care of his enemies personally, thinking he’ll be protected by his main character powers, leads him to an ignominious end. Of course, he’s still probably going to come back, but at this point he’s pretty much lost any ability to be perceived as a genuine threat, and I’m hoping the show is smart enough to lean into that and make him more of an annoying nuisance on the way to the real threat.

Yes, he didn't really feel like as strong of a threat this time around for whatever reason so it would be good to move on to a larger (or at least different) threat.
