Well, September is officially coming to an end and it has been a wild ride! I want to thank you for being a part of it and for your support! I'm truly grateful to have you as a part of our Patreon community.

In November I will be going back to two releases each week on specific release days. I had been experimenting with releasing a film every three days and now I'm ready to slow down ever so slightly to ensure the quality of my reactions are as high as they can be.

October will also be a bit of an experiment as well, but that won't affect the amount of content you receive on Patreon. I'll be releasing 1 video a week for the first part of the month and then the last 2 weeks will be a horror movie extravaganza!

So here is what I'm planning to bring to Patreon this month!

(as always subject to change).

Last year I watched all of the "Universal Horror' films, in order. But I didn't watch any of the Abbot and Costello films. I better watch this one quick (as I generally don't watch reactions to films I haven't yet seen-hate to be spoiled if I haven't yet seen it). But I'll catch up with you when it debuts and give my thoughts.

Sounds great! Just wanna make sure it’s clear, as an epic choice it will be released as a full length watch a long. I don’t have plans at this time to edit this one for YouTube— perhaps down the road.

Ron! Ain't The Invisible Man underappreciated? Any thoughts on The Bride of Frankenstein ? It's one of ma favs ! So surprisingly surreal and seems like it invented "camp".

@g g. I LOVED the entire Frankenstein series. In many ways the Universal Monsters were 'The Avengers' of their day--appearing in their own films, and then coming together in later films. LOL Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein work so well together. It's almost as if if is one film. I love Daughter of Dracula as well (what an atmospheric little gem!). Invisible Man was interesting because the character was so unlikeable. He was kind of an asshat. So I didn't have the sympathy for the 'human' monster as I did for the 'actual' monsters. Interesting...

2 curiosities that you might have missed:
The Old Dark House (1932). Directed by Whale, staring Karloff, and somewhat inspired Rocky Horror.

The other Dracula (1931). My DVD of Drac has a new Philip Glass score, which is badass but it also has the Latino version. After filming ended for the day a Mexican crew and Mexican actors filmed the exact same movie at night for release in Mexico. (No one had thought of dubbing or subtitles yet). Its atmosphere is more ominous and frankly it's a better movie - in my strange opinion, at least.

LOVE 'The Old Dark House'. I've known of the Mexican Dracula and its history, but have never seen it. I think it's on Criterion Channel in October.
