It was fascinating watching this after the remake. The story is as compelling as ever, the structure and tone are definitely different. The real question is... which one did I like more?

I just watched the original one not too long ago. It was actually very good. I like the ending of this one better lol. But both are good! I look forward to watching your reaction!

Definitely both good! This one ends on a note of what I’d call uncertainty while the second certain doom. Haha

"Superscope" was a lame knock off of "Cinemascope" (which required a special lens in theatres to show.) The *really* interesting one was "Cinerama." Y'all can look it up, rather than me blather. I got to see a flick in Cinerama once in Dayton, Ohio in one of the VERY few Cinerama theatres left in the world, at the time (think there's 1 left, now). I can't express how amazing, cheat-code, boss-level it was. The wiki page explaining it don't do it justice.
