So many characters! A period piece with a complex story and multiple motives for murder! There were many clues pointing to the inevitable conclusion, but still a surprising twist at the end that left me more conflicted than I ought over the killing of a man.

Watched the full reaction much later than I intended to. Glad you enjoyed it. I actually hadn't seen it in a long time so it was nice to see it again. I really like the gal who played Mary, Kelly Macdonald. She is in a really heartwarming movie I like but isn't streaming anywhere. Hmm...maybe I will send you a copy and request it someday! Better late than never! It was definitely so different than I expected, but really a great film! Haha it’s not available to rent digitally? That boggles my mind, but if your wanted to send it that worked well last time. :)
