I was six years old when I saw this movie, and the invisible monster scared me! I have loved it since then and eagerly bought the "Forbidden Planet (Two-Disc 50th Anniversary Edition)" I'm so glad I could watch it along with you! I also found on Amazon a DVD released in 2012 entitled, "Monsters From the Id," and bought that, too; it's quite interesting. It has good background detail of science fiction along with excerpts from movies I saw as a kid.

I can only imagine what it would have been like seeing this as a kid when it came out. I think terrified would be accurate. What an experience for sure! Glad you could watch it again with me!
