I am SO glad I finally watched this EPIC final installment in the Cornetto trilogy! What a wild ride! I am so grateful to say I loved every film in the series and while I would love to see more, perhaps it's great the quit while they were ahead? 

I don't know, I haven't seen Paul which isn't Edgar Wright, but I feel like it may still need to happen.

One of the thems of the Cornetto movies is having to deal with certain stages of life and all the angst that comes with them. In "Shaun" it was partly about the stress of being an aimless 20 something unable to see how to get your life started. In "End" it was partly about hitting 40 and facing the fact that many of your choices in life have now been made and can't be changed no matter how much you regret them. Gary's scars from his suicide attempt make his obsession with the possibilities of 1990 tragic.
