The pre-production process of Bun Hunting 2.0: You Can (Not) Be Baked is now finished!

Check'em out below!

Next: TWO WEEKS VACA!

I'm burnout from working non stop since the release of Bun Hunting: Overture and Mango The Dragon Animation. I will take a break for two weeks before going back to production and start the animation process in September!

During this time I will push the date for monthly pin-up illust reward to the end of the month. As well as practicing my skills to be ready to animating 3 min of new Hank toon, BY STUDYING THE OLD MASTERS ANIMATION DRAWINGS!!!

I always love applying my character doing the pose of a character I like. In this case, Edgar from Disney's Aristocats. Milt Kahl's animation on that movie is on another level, especially the human. They are very well designed and well animated!

Then we have King Leonidas from an animated sequence in the Bedknob and Broomsticks movie. Look at the form and the shape, so clear and well drawn. Milt's animation drawings are special because every frame looks like a solid drawing, not the inbetween or bad keys drawing!

These poses are tricky! The king from Cinderella has a total opposite shape of Hank and it's fun to to figure out how Hank will do the same pose with his slender bod and longer arms and snout.

That's all for now!

These reference pictures are taken from Andre Deja's blog: Deja View. The blog is full of high resolution animation drawing frames from the archive of Deja's collection. Perfect for studying both techniques and history <3

I'm gonna do more drawing study while I take a break.

Stay tuned to the next update!

Lordy these are deliciously delightful! I need to remember to try some posing practice with references like this!

I've always wanted to make an animated series, so I'm looking at you for cliff notes.
