"Dexter is out of the house when he notices a strange signal coming from one of his experiments trapped in his lab. It seems that Dee Dee entered her lab without permission yet again and let one of her experiments escape the capsule. 

Immediately, Dexter calls his mother to find out about the situation but she, with a trembling and breathless voice, replies that nothing happened while he was away. It turns out that the escaped experiment has psychic powers and is manipulating Dexter's mother into lying so Dexter doesn't find out about his escape.
