Said in the intro, finishing the episode with that : not all of our guys are Commonwealth compatible, some would follow them (it's safer, for their kids, because they don't believe in Alexandria anymore etc) and some would not accept. But they're gonna take some of the help offered ? In exchange of what ? And maybe that's why we have that opposition at the end Maggie/Daryl ?

For the rest of the episode, it's just the end of the situations opened during episode 8. In Alexandria, our guys are fighting deads, girls are saved, things have ended well but the future of the town seems approximate. In Meridian, our people fight Leah's people and we have this logical end : Leah is trying things and ready to kill our guys, Maggie who is not accepting to let them go alive (and give them the chance to come back stronger, also because of what they did before etc). Negan's decision is also logical : he saw that Maggie doesn't give second chances and took the opportunity to kill her enemies when she could, so she could do the same with him. Hope he's gonna come back !
