Happy new years! 2021 retrospective and the road forward. (Patreon)

Hey everybody. Happy new year! Let's hope 2022 is a bit more chill on the IRL side of things, and everything starts coming back to "normal".

2021 was a surprisingly productive year for me! And I wanted to thank all of you for being a part of it.

I increased my commission prices, twice, i think?
I created the subscription model for commissions (info here!)
I did a ton of buyout sketchcomm streams. In fact, this year is gonna have a lot less, so expect more "traditional" r@ffle sketchcomm streams on 2022.
I held two KENNOCONs
I finally was able to go out on vacation after two years of lockdown, after managing to get vaccinated here in México.
We finished some of my favorite after-hours comics ever!
I finally managed to start a guest-afterhours comic, thanks to Mizaru as well.
We broke the $1500 goal last year!

So, what's next?

This may or may not be the year when the webcomic comes to an end. We're currently on the second to last story arc. I plan the last one to be more of an epilogue. So i've had to ask myself "How's my life and work gonna look like without the weekly webcomic?". An interesting question to ponder, ngl. I'm still bouncing around ideas of what I wanna make. But i'd definitely want to take a few months off after it's finished to just... cool down. Regroup. And then think if I want to do a new project or not.

What I know for certain, its that everything else aside the weekly webcomic (the after-hours comics, sketch comics (i swear i haven't forgotten about em) and the commission side of things) will stay the same. I'm extremely happy with how those things have turned out and I have no plan on stopping them anytime soon.

I also want to start a second guest comic sometime in the future. But i'm gonna need a slightly bigger budget to do that, so I'll make a new milestone for it! Let's hope we get there sometime soon.
