Hey Patreon!

I hope all is well. Last week was quite possibly the craziest week in Climate Town history, and I've gotta get clearance to post a bunch of stuff from one of the events, so that will be its own post. IN ANY CASE, here's a quick breakdown for you to read at your leisure.

1) We spent all of Monday with Climate Town hero Amy Westervelt. She is the powerhouse behind the podcast 'Drilled' as well as the founder of the Critical Frequency network, a contributing writer for like a hundred periodicals, and an honest to god genius. If you haven't listened to Drilled, go do it right now. There are a bunch of seasons out on Spotify, just start at the beginning and get ready to have your brain blasted with some of the most in-depth investigative journalism of your sweet life. She was in town for a conference (foreshadowing) and we wrangled a day with her to teach us some new tricks and kick off a little Drilled-Climate Town collabo dabbo.

2) Our assistant editor Laura knocked out a YouTube short exposing the lies of Times Square as well as a behind the scenes patreon post for all paid Patreon tiers that you should be able to see if you're in a paid tier. If you can't see it, go into your 'membership' tab and select one of the tiers. Good luck, and if you can't figure it out, message me.

3) We linked up with a team from The Years Project and knocked out a YouTube short that will be much better watched than described, so stay tuned for that one.

4-6) This is going to be its own post later on, but you know how I used to do a comedy show called 'An Inconvenient Talk Show' where I played a kind of strung-out Al Gore on an I-Told-You-So tour? Well we did the final installment last Friday in the only way that really made sense. More on that to come. TL;DR It was a dream come true.

7) I got to visit my parents out in Colorado and work with the good folks over at C.U. Boulder's Inside the Greenhouse program. The students did an amazing job writing and performing some climate comedy, and I got to shout into a microphone for a few minutes.

Anyways, have a great rest of your day, and as always, thank you so much for being a patron. It's truly an amazing gift, and I really appreciate your support in this. Without you, I would never have gotten to learn from Amy Westervelt or debunk the Times Square misinformation or meet Al Gore (spoiler alert), and I am endlessly appreciative of your help.

Best,
Rollie

Thanks for this post, I now know I have been on a custom pledge instead of a regular tier, so the video in 2) never showed up in my feed... (it works now)
