Yea Daemon and Rhaenyra planned Laenor’s escape with his lover but had everyone believe he was murdered so she could marry Daemon. Rhaenyra actually likes Laenor and wouldn’t have him killed. (In the show)

Love that Laenor did the -sail across the seas, be in love, eat oranges, and not have to be A Ruler- plan that Sir Incel assumed Rhaenyra wanted. Very sad for parents Corlys and Rhaenys =( And man does it suck how it works with dragons sometimes. According to a friend, grandma Vhagar may have thought Aemond was her original rider, Visenya. yeah. you are totally right. the way claiming a Dragon works is you have to overpower the Dragon's will. And even tho Vhagar did not want to be claimed by Aemond, Aemond WANTED Vhagar!! and his will was stronger than hers. she is old, so him telling HER what to do in High Valyrian....yeah....it sucks SO hard that the Greens have her now. that is Vhagar....THE Vhagar. the She-Dragon that helped Aegon (along with her brother Balerion, the Black Dread, and her sister, Meraxes) conquer the Seven Kingdoms. She is 150-160 years old right now....it is NOT good that the Greens have her.
