this s3 finale kinda felt underwhelming tbh. the previous episode was much better

You're a bit hard on Dex India. He really is a good man. He's also saving many lives by killing the scum of society who rape and murder and beat the system. He's a sociopath/psychopath and hasn't had much of a choice due to his brain makeup but I suspect it's a bit of a spectrum because Dexter has feelings for Rita and the kids, and Deb. Harry really did do the best he could. I like the way Dex took out the skinner. His 'advanced Jujitsu' training (as described by Doakes) finally showing itself. Still, loving your reactions India :)

Miguel deserved to die. He killed Ellen, he tried to take Dex down, someone he knew was a seasoned killer, talk about bad judgement. Also yes, Paul DID beat Rita.

What about allied soldiers in WW2 or cops killing a mass shooter? They're killing to defend lives and Dex is also saving lives.

lol i'm not going to get into this kind of disucssion. I just have pet peeves of main characters of killers, is all. Also Dexter goes hunting for them. Those are special different circumstnaces. I find Dexter highly interesting. But I'm just saying I'm critical of him too

fyi was also highly critical of Walter White. I WILL say Dexter being a sociopath-and it in his bones, literally, makes him more sympathetic than Walter. But I do get nervous around those people who cannot control their "dark passenger" as he talked about. And has had trouble controlling it at times

Fair enough. I've never seen Breaking bad, I must be the only one. I can't recall any times up to this point of Dex being unable to control his DP. In later seasons there are one or two instances, but normal humans can do the same and lose it much more often, especially without Harry's code. I agree, it's best not to get into political discussions on Patreon threads, leave it on Youtube lol.

I'd have to agree Aaron. Although he's had some flukes I feel like Dexter is mostly doing the world a favor by getting rid of all of these criminals. Even if this defines him as a serial killer
