2023 Reader Questions Week 13 (Patreon)

1: I like to think if Merial was a dragon she'd basically be a Nudelschlange kinda thing. Just real noodly.

2: I'll be honest: I've studied a lot of microraptors and I STILL don't fully understand how their leg-wings work. So therefore: i will never understand how Ouzelum bird leg-wings work. Sorry, I've tried.

3: I hadn't heard of either of these animals before drawing this Reader Question and oh my GOD. They're both so ROUND.

4: I like answering these sorts of questions with the Elders, especially since I didn't get a chance to draw a lot of them back in Illumination. Grass-of-Parnassus especially seems like a person who would do everything in her power to please the fair folk "just in case" but as far as most mythical creatures and mythical communities can tell, the fae are either just legends or they live on a separate plane and don't interact with our realm much.

5: I had never heard of the Helhest before, but gosh if I'm not a sucker for a creepy omen of death, I had to draw it.
