2023 Reader Questions week 11 (Patreon)

1) I like that Dr Wes shows up in so many Reader Questions when he's had like maybe four panels of screen time in the actual comic. It's not my fault he's the only real doctor in the Liverpool Avalon! Well actually I guess it IS my fault. Sorry, Wes.

2) Honestly Tobias could be anything at all and Paul and Jim would find something to rib him about. The problem is...Tobias is very fun to rile up. Not to blame you, Tobias, but...kinda blaming you, Tobias.

3) The problem with completely human-looking mythical creatures is they can blend in with humanity, so they're really good at slipping under the radar. You won't see one unless they make themselves known. Like SOME Yaksha I could name.

5) I need to work more yokai into the background of Skin Deep! A lot of them are natural shapeshifters so, like many human-shaped creatures, they're hard to find if they don't wanna be found. But there's no reason why you wouldn't see Tengu and Kitsune at the very least wandering around various Avalons.
