1. The reason why there are two Nemean Lions on the Elder Council is because Dr. Hobbes represents the Nemean Council, while Nuala is the official Nemean Elder. Hobbes answers to Nuala.

3. I had never heard of Bahkauvs before, but I like them! They apparently live in the German Rhineland and they pester drunk guys. I like that in a mythical creature.

4. Common gryphons are considered adults when their "ears" grow in. You can see the little feather nubbins on Tobias's head when he gets fluffed up, but some day he'll have some handsome ears.

5. Lore dump! Ike is gross! Ike's shapeshifting is gross! To be fair, he's lucky he can shapeshift at ALL, but if you ask his mother, his shapeshifting is an embarrassment. He's far more willing to shift from human to fullform than the other way around, since shifting to human means leaving a bunch of shed fur and other gross bits behind. You ever get a haircut without putting a towel or something around your shoulders and then spend the rest of the day kinda itchy because of the little stray hairs all around your collar? It's like that, but with your entire body.
