Is there a link to the Discord around somewhere?

You should be able to connect to the discord via Patreon. Is your Patreon connected to Discord? If I remember correctly its in settings -> apps Or if it is connected, you should be able to join via the membership tab. When you click it after the tiers, there should be a "connect to Discord` option.

Connect to Discord just takes me to a page where it says your Discord is connected and offers an option to leave, but there's no actual link to the Discord server that I can see.

So, once you click "Connect to Discord" it should take you to Settings -> Apps There it will show you your connected apps, one of them should be Discord. You can click on Discord to show you all the servers you can be a part of. The PeaPu Party should be one of them, all you have to do is simply click the blue button `join server`.

OK, so apparently it just automatically added me to the server for every creator I support, which is, honestly, really not cool. Like, I'm not a fan of this at all. Let me decide where and how I want to engage.

That is quite unfortunate. I know that if you're already connected to discord and sub to a creator it prompts you whether you want to join (unless something changed recently). Patreon really is a flawed platform, as a creator there are soooo many things I wish it did better. But alas...
