last update for PPF ep2 (Patreon)

aiii its been a while since i last updated on PPF e2's progress. i've basically got about 90% of the linework done and some of the coloring done too, so its feeling like the majority of my work on it is reaching its end.

a major thing i decided to do (quite late in production honestly) is finally being a big boy, and getting on other animators to clean up (line & color) shots for me. i've had a couple animators in the past do extra animation like little effects here and there, but pretty much never had other animators do full on clean-up for a major amount of shots. about a minute and a half of the animation is being taken care of by some other talented peeps now which is a great weight off my shoulders and moving things along much quicker. i was always apprehensive about that as i'd worry it'd stand out too much and look too obvious someone else took over, but what i've seen back so far matches my style for PPF pretty well so i'm honestly wishing i did so sooner. and realistically i know like 90% of the viewing audience wouldn't notice or care anyway so it's a good reminder for me to stop worrying about shit that doesn't matter.

i'm hoping going forward i can get episodes done even quicker and that ep3 will come along a little sooner than like 8+ months like this one has!

in fact in that time since episode 1 release, i began receding up top, and so shaved my head and became a member of the b*ld community. just thought i'd let everyone know as this is pretty shocking, and i understand if you choose to no longer engage with my work, now knowing that i am a fucking b*ldie. i look like this now, and TRUST me, its NOT pretty:

but it makes me more aerodynamic, and along with getting other animators to help with clean-up, has made animating a bit quicker, so i'm glad i overcame those 2 hurdles.

i'm still expecting the episode to be done late April or May, which is rare that the expected release date is the same as it was months ago. if i'm being really flippin' crazy, i wanna see if i can even get ep3 done this year too, though that one will def be a bit shorter than this one.
