The reason this is a “what if scenario” and that moment didn’t happen in the comic is because they are in a polyamorous relationship and they wouldn’t be doing this while Adrien is away and unaware of their actions.

But I like to imagine how it could’ve been 😏

I enjoyed drawing this much more that I expected I would. Next time Marinette will be more dominant and I really like this type of dynamic.

I love when female characters take the lead but I was very disappointed to see how many mangas portray sexual relationships with more dominant female characters as toxic. The lack of communication and proper consent is bothering me so much and reading this type of works is less than enjoyable.

I don’t understand the obsession so many writers and artists have with disregarding consent and abusive toxic relationships. And I don’t mean just difficult relationships where either the external circumstances create difficulties for the couple or their personalities clashing in some ways.

I mean those unhealthy “relationships” where there’s either a huge difference in power or one character straight up abuses the other either physically or emotionally but in most cases both.

I think it’s possible to make an interesting relationship story without resorting to creating characters with violent psychopathic tendencies.

That’s not to say that there aren’t beautiful works with equally beautiful relationships between the protagonists.
