The Big Thaw Alpha 19 Patreon Release (Patreon)

If you have build 20211124 please grab this hot fix. Install over top of your existing install to preserve your save games. This fixes the game freezing with Morgan's milking scene. If you have a version older than Alpha 19 it's advisable uninstall before updating. This will remove the save games but it's unlikely they would work any way.

Bad News

I've reverted the game engine to the previous version of TyranoBuilder. The 2.0 release is utter garbage. All the old bugs were still there and it introduced a whole new level of shit show. Reverting to the previous game engine means save games have to be wiped. Last time I tried to save them ended up making the game black screen for most people.

Good News

Despite wasting most of this month trying to find a way through the mine field of new bugs in TB 2.0 I did manage to actually fix some stuff and get Heather ready for her appearance in the Glory Hole. As with all the other girls she will need to be left in a high-lust state to motivate her to visit the Glory Hole.

Reverting the game engine has made it possible to build Mac again.

So ...

Game engine bugs that have plagued me from the start, like playing full screen, will clearly never get fixed by the TB developers. I chose the wrong platform and it's too late to switch. Autosave will bail you out in most cases of the game getting stuck.

• [FIXED?] Should be fixed by reverting to TB 1.87 BUG: Some combination of events leaves BGM playing. Seems to happen when skipping fast. Increase time delay to 10ms
