Consider this more of a feeling out process... I'd like to narrow it down quite a bit (7 or 8), though if a couple run away with it... things become a lot easier obviously lol.

I've seen Mr. Robot, Always Sunny, Suits, Psych, The Last Kingdom, Boardwalk Empire, Penny Dreadful, Lucifer, and The Mentalist.

Also, since I'm in love with Kate Winslet, pretty sure I'll be checking out The Mare of Easttown regardless.

Sorry, "Red October" is taking/took so long. It's done and dusted, just waiting for it to finish exporting. This month shall go much smoother. Promise.

So hard to choose 😂

If Dark wins, will you be watching the original or the dub? the dub is trash, so hopefully not that.

Uncle 'Traveling' Matt

There seems to be some confusion here. "The Americans" is the fifth option from the top, boys and girls. You guys seem to be repeatedly clicking on the wrong buttons :S

MrEvers

My 3 suggestions are on there, guess I'll support the one with the most votes, and keep an eye on how the votes evolve...

Ben Trotter

Please god not SOA. Overrated and overwritten. That would be a long series to have to rewatch while waiting for The Americans.

NEMESIS

Bro The Americans is a masterpiece, cmon yall

Ninaofthe90s

Dark. As a German I'm really proud that this amazing show comes from my country. I don't watch a lot of german stuff so it's actually weird for me to watch a show where they speak german and someone from the US reacting to it. But I hope you'll choose the original version and not the horrible dub.

DestructoDiscman

Dark and the Americans are both incredibly good, so you can't go wrong. But my darkhorse pick is Barry. That show is hilarious and sad, but also short and sweet so it won't take up a ton of time.

Luther is a very good show

Unbeheld

Sigh, I've seen every show on this list but don't think everyone can say the same. Jimmy you're probably the only reactor that goes with some non mainstream stuff. This isn't to say any of the choices are wrong since taste is subjective, but I don't think people consider the length. We'll be having grandkids by the time some of these shows finish. Would be nice to have at least one show where the time commitment is 20 episodes or less. Obviously I'm biased 🤣

Tyrone Tyrone

Sons of Anarcy or Luther

Anonymous

Luther's fantastic and it's entire run is like half a season of Son's of Anarchy. I just hope if SoA wins, some other stuff gets mixed in, because 92 eps is a huge time commitment for the same show.

Jesse Walker

The good place was low-key one of the most surprisingly deep shows I've ever seen

Ashley

naturally SONS. But I’ll be here if we are going to my fav 1980s Russians or a bunch of timelines in Germany. Kate: Whom I’m also in love with...she’s the sole interest. Not seen finale yet. The plot and side plots are not as strong as I thought they’d do for a show of her caliber. Like the first TD. But she’s Kate. You more than buy her in the role.

KapZachlan

SOA is a fucking messss after season 4 but I'll always love that show

Anonymous

I swear, I get my hopes up every time about Sons of Anarchy. I don't know if your reactions would get a lot of views but damn, that show is so good.

Drew

Sons of Anarchy is going to win but I'm really pulling for The Americans. There's no other show like it.

Robert Kruger

Sons of Anarchy is overrated Americans is great Dark is great Luther is great Firefly is overrated by its fans, but it's still good I wish more people would consider how many damn episodes there are in a show before voting for it. Sons of Anarchy has entirely too many episodes compared to Dark, Luther, The Americans and Barry. Hell, whatever the vote counts are, Jimmy should divide them by the # of episodes in the series to get a valid ratio. That way we don't all get stuck watching something season after season unless a lot of people actually really want it.

Nerd Going Outside

Lots of great shows here that are worth a watch. I'm not going to bash anyone else's choice, I'll just say that SOA fits this channel really well, is a ton of fun, and hasn't been done by any of the big reaction channels so it gets my vote. I think the show is good right to the end and has a great conclusion, but others don't like the vibe change after season 4 - that's an old fight I won't re-litigate here. :) The only other thing I'd add is that dark has been done by several big reaction channels, so that might be worth factoring in to people's thinking.

Unbeheld

It sounds silly, but adding some randomness for the votes on shows that aren't too long could work as well. Not everyone will have watched all of the nominations and just vote based on what they've seen themselves. Some shows are dated, others are uneven, some are okay but have terrible writing while others have brilliant writing but pretty boring at times (which doesn't lend well to "reactions"). I really didn't want to comment on a specific selection but it is surprising how popular SoA is in terms of voting. I've watched a metric ton of shows over the years and it wouldn't even crack my top 30. But like I said maybe I'm the one with poor taste and everyone else is right.

Stefanniko

Haven't watched soa for years so will be cool to go back through it, think you're gonna appreciate the characters a lot!

Ashley

Sithfurion is doing it now—but took like a year break or something—he was doing 10k last time checked in s5

Drew

100% this. He could do like three of these shows in the same time he will take to do SoA

Aria Nadii

Nice to know that at least a few other people have seen Hell on Wheels. For awhile there I thought I had imagined it.

Just When I Thought I Was Out...

I personally think for you Succession and Barry would be good follow ups to Ozark with the guys. Both highly entertaining/relatable with either hyper or funny moments. I think The Americans, Gomorrah, and ZeroZeroZero make the most sense for you individually. All have those moments too but a little more your taste from what I gather. The Americans as everybody is saying is fantastic. Gomorrah has the gritty realism of Sopranos/Wire with turns like GOT. And ZeroZeroZero might be the best 8 episode slice of tv for the past few years. An incredible (and partially true) tale. I just finished Dark myself and while a really great show, I don't think it is the best for reaction material considering how the plot works itself out. And non-stop depressing.

T0ast

Im pulling for Succession which apparently nobody has watched because its incredible, or The Americans. I was a superfan of SOA for the first 3 seasons, but unfortunately I think the last few seasons are worse then the last few seasons of GoT for me.

Robert Kruger

I'd like to see your top 30 list because it sounds like you have good taste to me.

Drew

Dark is amazing, I watched it in the original German, I cannot imagine watching it dubbed.

Tyler Green

Yeah has no one watched Succession..? I’d say it’s the best (at least in the top 3) show currently running.

Ninaofthe90s

you know just because it doesn't get that much votes doesn't mean people haven't seen it. You can only vote for ONE show. I have seen 11 out of these - including Succession. And it is my second favorite of them. But since I can only vote for one - I'm going to vote for my favorite, which is Dark.

Jamie Roberts

I don't care when, a week from now, a year from now, I think you should Succession at some point

Agnieszka Pienczykowska

There are too many good choices to just pick one. I really like SOA but I want Counterpart and Dark more. This is an embarrassment of riches. I'm super happy you will do Mere of Easttown. Maybe once you finish it, if you're willing to do two shows, you can balance a long running show like SOA with shorter ones (like Counterpart for example ;P)

Uncle 'Traveling' Matt

How about, instead of SOA, we do The Americans, Atlanta, and Barry. Should be roughly the same amount of episodes in total. Just a thought!

Nerd Going Outside

Keep in mind that The Americans is only one season short of SOA - it's pretty lengthy too! Justified and The Americans are about the same length, SOA is ~15 episodes longer with its extra season. I think Justified has taken ~8 months to get through?

Uncle 'Traveling' Matt

Just need a few more votes for The Americans!! C'mon guys!

I feel like these need to stay pinned until completion, 300+ patrons and it's barely changed from 137 total votes in 3 days.
