Chaos Level IV: NPC Sheets

   Below you will find a series of pre-prepared NPCs for D&;D 5e based on some of the miniatures in Chaos Level IV. These sheets are designed to be simple-to-use, setting-agnostic and include suggestions for scaling the NPCs and monsters to higher or lower Challenge Ratings. For each miniature, you will find their game statistics presented as a statblock similar to those in the Monster Manual or a Campaign Guide, along with a brief background, details of their personality and advice on how to portray these characters in roleplay scenarios.

   Using them as presented is a great way to insert a character into your game with minimal preparation needed, just print and paint the miniature and consult their relevant sheet for all in information you’ll need to add them into your existing campaign or one-shot game. Some characters even come with plot hooks or story beats that might form the basis of a whole session’s adventuring!

     The sheets are, of course, just a guideline, and you should feel free to modify any element of them to better suit your game. In addition to the three fully-detailed NPC sheets, there are a couple of ‘quickfire’ character ideas with no rules content, designed to inspire a use for the included miniatures.

Mogrinn Ironside And Guublu (Dwarven Mando from One Gold Piece). An unusual pair of adventures that make excellent travelling companions for a low-to-mid level adventuring party.

Thorold Thinshiver (Gnome Wizard from Across The Realms). A magician as arrogant and devious as he is talented, who has many things to offer a party in exchange for their services. Will he be loremaster, questgiver, reluctant ally or unwitting villain?

Xiao Tong (Demon from Mojibake Miniatures and Samurai from Village’s Hope Miniatures). A monster who takes the form of a man, shaped by mercy and hungry for justice, this Oni is a powerful and mysterious ally to the selfless and kind, and a deadly terror to the corrupt and cruel.

Alvertos (Paladin from Moonglaive Studios). A huckster in knight’s garb, this boastful warrior is not all he seems, but with the right push, can he become a true hero?

Nagpa (from Crippled God Foundry) A truly enigmatic creature who hoards secrets, Nagpa will sell any information, but her prices are often steep and always esoteric. With no discernible morality, she hinders as often as she helps, but her aid could prove invaluable.
