Kal'kina arrived in Lioncourt Kingdom to find Monette bond by oaths of magic to the King and kingdom and unable to retrieve her. Unable to return with her, she was instructed to stay in the mundane lands and watch over Monette, who would certainly try to find ways to break her oaths and bonds. Kal'kina made a pact with the young King Eriol and became the Grand Inquisitor in his court. She delighted in using her elderian powers to interrogate the mundanes.

More mature and trustworthy than Monette, this succubi nevertheless still needed to feed on the quintessence of others to sustain herself and bolster her powers. She, with permission from the crown, spends that time with a near endless amount of volunteers from off duty knights and soldiers of the court. Despite being a responsible and well fed succubus,she too feels the allure of dangerous and forbidden sex. This takes the form of her many trysts with the knights of the City Watch. While supposedly helping to teach them how to spot and identify elderian threats, Kal’Kina often indulges in wild orgies and intimate one nighters with several members of the watch. She particularly enjoys distracting sentries from their duties.

The city watch has made Kal’kina their unofficial mascot and many seek her out whenever they can. Though her activities are not beyond the notice of the crown, specifically the Raven Knights, her sexual deviance has actually increased productivity and moral. So many pretend not to notice her activities. The City Watch has been better for her presence. Well trained and now well motivated, they are the eyes and ears of the city of Bast.
