And I thought there couldn't be a cooler Palomino pencil. Very cool.

I followed you into the bottomless pit of fountain pens. I'm drawing the line at pencils!

Only a month ago I tested my prototype glow in the dark pencil lead. The darker it is, the blacker the writing glows. In complete darkness the writing glows so darkly it is absolutely invisible, and all done with no added mercury. Works on spherical or flat worlds without adjustment! Patent Pencilding.

Always love phosphofluoroluminoiridescence. And libriarians are cool people

It is possible to have a phosphorescent source that does not require the influx of energy. They did it ages ago, and I remember when I was a kid, especially on watches. They just used radium! Granted it was harmful, but it did work!

Oh yes! There is not enough phosphorescent stuff these days. As a kid I was fascinated by watch faces the glowed in the dark to be able to tell the time and I used to have a pot of 'glow in the dark paint' that I used to paint loads of things with labels or names. These days I am thinking I should find a way of computer stencilling and printing in night glow inks. Thanks Fran.. fascinating as usual.

This was fun! Thanks for sharing.

Agreed! I had many phosphorescent toys as child. It was a fascinating technology that we need more of today.
