Daredevil in comics had a really interesting arc about his severer identity being exposed. In Brian Michael Bendis’s run on Daredevil, Matt’s identity gets leaked to the media, leading to him fighting against the reveal while facing potential disbarment and accusations of faking blindness, all while the likes of Foggy and Elektra suggest the genie’s out of the bottle and adjusting to it. This is later used really interestingly in Mark Waid’s run (where Matt is often wearing an “I’m not Daredevil shirt” in public) taking the advice and publicly admitting it on the stand. He and supporting cast then move out to San Francisco, where he finds many people interested in getting defended specifically by Daredevil! This all gets moved back of course by the next writer (f*#king status quo cowards) but is still really cool as a story for what it is!
