Please react to "The Mandalorian" episodes that fit well well into the time line of Star Wars. Thanks as always for your reaction to this.

Cassie: "I need a win." Me: "Uh oh." It reminds me of when I saw this in the theater and my nephew leans over seconds before Jyn and Cassian get vaporized and said "I bet they're gonna get married."

My only issues with this movie is the ending: Why was Leia at this battle? It's not like they were adding anything to the fighting. Plus, they go into Hyperspace at the end, so how does Vader's Star Destroyer catch up to them at the start of "A New Hope"? It's made pretty clear in the first three movies that there isn't a Hyperspace Tracker and it's even said "If they go into Hyperspace, we'll lose them", which is why in "Empire Strikes Back" it was such a point that the 'Falcon's Hyperdrive was broken. Instead, I would have had the ending be this way: have one of the Rebel Ships relay another transmission to Leia's ship, which the Empire could track and intercept, leading into "A New Hope", so that when you watch these back-to-back, there's more of a continuity....Just my two cents worth..

Probably the saddest of the newer Star Wars films for me. Did you recognize K-2SO's voice, Cassie???? It was "Wash" Alan Tudyk from "Firefly" and "Serenity". Yes, Carrie Fisher was deceased and they used CGI. Peter Cushing who played one of the higher up bad guys here, Grand Moff Tarkin in several scenes was long since dead, and they used CGI to bring him back as well. His eyes can be a bit dodgy at times, with the process.

K2SO,...Best Droid Ever!

This is one of my favorite movies of the franchise... and oddly enough, it's partially because it was so sad. The original trilogy gives us all the glory and the medals and the triumph, but this one makes us feel the cost that was paid to get to that glory.

For me, this Movie is better then the 3 "official sequels". The character development is better. The effects are just as good, and it sticks to the original plot line.

I don't care, in my opinion this movie is the best one since Return of the Jedi and definitely the best of the Disney era movies. When I saw this in the theatre it brought me back to my childhood seeing the originals. Yes I'm one of them old farts that saw the originals in theatre and this one gave me all kinds of nostalgia. Unlike the prequels and the rest of the new sequel movies. Is it perfect? No. But I absolutely adore this movie just for how it made me feel. I'm so glad you liked it Cass.

Actually, Carrie Fisher was alive during filming. She died right about the time it was released.

Michael Brown

My mistake. Although Carrie was not deceased, they chose to use archival footage from the first film, with a stand in, and archival audio. As a result, she is not listed under the credits, the same as Cushing.

I would love for her to see the Clone Wars, Bad batch and Rebels first

The sad thing about this movie is they HAD to kill the main characters because if they didn't die at the Battle of Scarriff, then they should have been around during the event of A New Hope.
