RWBY: Happy Hour - Lettering Timelapse (Patreon)

I decided to record the lettering for this comic because I though some of you might find it interesting. I also wanted to illustrate that I don't just slap dialogue into comics without thinking about it. 

The full video is about 30 minutes and is sped-up 4x, condensing about 2 hours worth of work for two pages. This took me a little longer because the dialogue was written after-the-fact and I had to rearrange the art to make sure everything fit together cohesively. Usually, you put the dialogue in during the thmbnailing/sketching process so you can compose the art around the dialogue, but that didn't happen for this project. 

I made sure to keep a lot of elements on separate layers so I could go back and move them around if I needed to. I'm glad I did too, you'll see me moving a lot of elements around to make sure that the art and words mesh together in a way that's legible.
