That one youtuber might just not be a fan of slice of life and didn't like that it went back to normal after this arc. Anyway, glad you decided to stick to it. Don't want to hype you up too much, but Benizakura is not even in top 10 of best serious arcs in the series.

Glad to see this, and yes like you mentioned, it's definitely a preview for what the rest of the series will become when it wants to get serious (Usually around every 30-40ish eps)> Also yeah, unfortunately since youtube is mostly western focused, Gintama doesn't really do well from what I've seen, but it's definitely worth the watch, and glad to hear you want to continue it. Looking forward to more reactions! Next movie is quite far away(about 200 eps), but that and the final movie are both regarded as even better than this, so something to look forward to. That's the good thing about Gintama, the show is heavily weighted towards the latter parts, so it only continues to get better!

Yes you're right it's the pawn shop where ginsan got the fan! Great observation 😂 in the eps, there's a conversation going between ginsan and the shopkeeper girl with ginsan asking about the benizakura sword

Oh yes I agree, Gin and Tae definitely understand each other so much. Like you said, ship or not ship, it's just they understand each other SO MUCH. This movie is peak, glad you enjoy it. Just like others said, both the other movies are better than this one, by miles.

Thank you for the promise! A lot of people dropping Gintama most probably didn't enjoy the slice of life episodic anime. I treat Gintama casually like you watch Doraemon, that when you hit that eps 300ish, omg best arc best eps best shonen mc everrrrrrr. Ps: last scene you saw a lot of characters that you haven't seen because this movie come after eps 200, that's about 150eps more characters 😁 thanks for great reaction!

I really enjoy your Gintama's video 🙏 Im so glad you're not gonna drop Gintama, many people expect fighting, actions, blood in a shounen anime, and when they realize Gintama isn't just like that, they lose interest and drop it. Also, because of the heavy Japanese/Asian ref jokes and culture, many western people could hardly understand Gintama's atmosphere and characters' behaviours, let alone its jokes. Therefore it's not strange that they feel disconnected with the show 😂 Anyway, really enjoy your videos, thank you for your hard work!
