I think one thing I kinda like about this sequence is that so many of the of the sequences we see kinda take place in an isolated space where no one else is really reacting to what is happening, here in addition to the Eiji reacting to what is happening to him we essentially get the rest of the gym seeing the transformation happen and something about that makes it more entertaining to me.
