I've been wanting to make an animatic for a while- does anyone know of any sort of program for easily making animatics? Preferably free.

Animatic? Plan to do a storyboard or something? Or just animations in 2D? For animation, you can use Flash or even photoshop to animate, they're the most popular animation softwares to work with. Or another i've heard is Plastic Animation Paper, though i don't know of it much. Or Pencil 2D, for simple draws.

Well what I want to do is make a simple slideshow-type animation to some audio. I won't give away too much other that it'll be MLP related.

Well you could use After Effects but you need to be patient to know it's tools and else.
