The next second, a yell rang out, causing him to stop his celebration, “FATHER!”

The Goddess behind him screamed as she looked back, surprised. She was holding a phone to her ear, talking to someone like a typical human.

‘"That guy – yes, the new dude who was swept into here by the <Storm>. He got The Gamer System from Fate... what the hell should I do?!"’

'Storm?' 799 thought. He suddenly realized that he was in a bad situation.

The Goddess fumed from her ears upon hearing the reply from the other side of the phone. ‘"FUCK YOU! DON'T BLAME ME! Why didn’t you stop the storm earlier?! You were lazing around, weren’t you!?"’ A red fiery aura surrounded the Goddess.

'Fuck, I’m supposed to be celebrating!' 799 cursed instantly, waiting for a ding sound to ring in his head and be done with it.

The next second, the Goddess’s face had a hideous expression as if she had just seen a ghost. '"You are going to...?"' she bit her lips. '"I understand, this is a severe situation after all."'

‘"I am going to try and <Erase> his memories now, though it might awaken his system."’ Saying this, the Goddess looked at 799 with a grim face. ‘"Father, I will bet it on you. Using my powers here will damage my divinity, you have to pay me back accordingly."’

She then cut her call and threw the phone away. The next second, she snapped her fingers, as if to activate something.

Snap!

Instantly, Red light surrounded 799, however, before anything serious could happen, a bell rang in his head.

[0%... 30%... 60%... 90%... 100%!]

[Ding! A threat towards the Host's memory detected!]

Before he could even finish reading all the messages, a sudden pain jitted his mind. 'H-H-H-Huh...'

He screamed. "AHHHH!"

However. he wasn't the only one acting strangely, suddenly the goddess fell onto her knees coughing out blood.

Still, she turned to 799, wiping her bloody lips in the process. '"Did it work? Did the gamer system not make it in time?"' Seeing that 799 was silently laying in the ground, the Goddess sighed. '"Phew..."'

However, just then the man, 799, stood up – surprising the Goddess.

Instantly, the Goddess yelled. '"How the hell?!"'

The reason for her surprise was 799. He now had a 'proper' body--even though naked. This was the perk of [Gamer’s Body]. Though his body was just a half-transparent pale ghost-looking body with pale white hair.

Meanwhile, 799 covered his face with a sweaty palm. 'These memories... So, this is how I died.' 799's death became clearer to him while a lump found its place in his throat… 'Why did she…'

After a while, he heaved a sigh and looked at the shocked Goddess. 'At least I feel like myself now. Also, she looks injured. Am I finally out of danger?’

However, the next second, a golden light surrounded the Goddess as she stood up. '"Fuck, I am totally gonna regret this later."'

Before he could analyze anything, the injured Goddess rushed towards him at a horrifying speed with a spiritual fiery sword in her hand...

'"<Divine Slash: Wrath of  the Fire Goddess!>"'

With a shout, she went past him, slashing him in half. It hurt. It hurt so much. He yelled on top of his lungs as he felt a tinge of pain in his throat. But... not even a single drop of blood splattered.

[Since the Host just started the game, he will be granted 'Invulnerability' for 10 minutes!]

799's body flickered golden like a game character after respawning.

It seemed fate wasn't in the Goddess' favour.

'Ah yes, this is all a game now.' 799 guessed with a cheeky but pained smile. ‘I can think of my life and death later, now is the time to stay alive.’

It hurt, hurt a lot. But he had a feeling that most of the pain was being suppressed by the 'Invulnerability'. Why, he wondered. If you’re going to take away the pain, just take all of it!

This proved something though, if the Buff can’t fully conceal the pain, there is a huge chance it can’t fully conceal a higher damage eithier.

Moving on, it was then when the roulette shattered into pieces, causing another roulette came out from behind... The new had names of different anime, manga, movies, and stuff that even 799 wasn't aware of.

'These must be the names of many possible worlds I can reincarnate in...' 799 nodded to himself.

While the woman slashed at him another time, he set his sights on the roulette, gritting his teeth and holding onto his pain, he ran towards the roulette.

But he suddenly realized, 'Wait, I don't need to reach it! I just need to think about rolling it!'

He did exactly as he thought, he just commanded it with his mind and it started to spin by itself. Although this was smaller than the previous one, it was still very big.

'This would probably take minutes as well... But I only have 9 minutes left!'

It was then when something strange happened. The whole Neutral Zone trembled, another higher life form had entered this place.

The space above 799 got torn apart and a massive red-skinned demon with horns, looking almost like Trigon from 799’s memory, peeked out of it.

The being couldn't enter this place fully, so it was like looking into an eggshell for him!

''"Are you the one who got it? The Gamer System?!"'' The formidable being with eyes similar to the Goddess said in an echoing voice.

799’s body flinched and he fell on his butt heavily.

'Ugh, my ears hurt! Who the fuck is it now?!' 799 cried internally in pain.

[Ding! END +1 because of enduring the voice of 'The Primordial God'!]

[Ding! Invulnerability is adjusting its power to combat the new threat!]

799 barely managed to read the texts. 'Oh? Nice- no, I am fucked! It says Primordial God…!’

His voice was strong enough to make invulnerability update on its own. Considering that, he must be a top-dog.

Meanwhile,

'"Yes father!"' The Goddess yelled. '"Be careful, he unlocked something strange. I can't harm him."'

799 thoughts intercepted her words. 'It's her father? They do look similar... I am fucked either way. Can the fucking Gamer system hold against a— no, The Primordial God?'

Gulping internally. 799 glanced at the world roulette spinning behind him.

'"Father, I’m not able to hurt him for some reason. You try to hurt him! In the meantime, I’ll try to destroy the wheel of the [World Roulette]"’

A voice that caused more vibrations in the air rang out, ''"No, stand back. The roulette comes from Fate itself, even I, the King of Primordials cannot damage it, let alone you, a little girl."''

799 didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, but he was relieved most of all. He wasn't sure why the gods were after him. Weren't they supposed to be nice who give out wishes? But hearing that the roulette can't be broken, he still had a slim chance, a slim hope that he could survive!

He believed if the Gods can't even read minds in this space, it is possible that they can't reach him after he leaves for another world! It was clear that they weren't Omnipotent, at least not here. If they were, they wouldn't have been worried at all even if there were 100 people, let alone only one person with the Gamer System. After all, they would have already removed the system from the roulette if they could!

The red-skinned Primordial then shifted his gaze at 799. ''"Mortal, you must be confused, so let me clarify before you perish--the last person who got The Gamer System almost destroyed the multiverse... Ugh, thinking about that fucker makes my old wounds ache…"’’ He continued. ''"I know this doesn't justify our reasoning, but what can I do? This is how Gods are. The Gamer System... it's..."''

He sighed. ''"It's too much for a mortal, a creature who doesn't know how to control his emotions, to have such power. Still—as compensation, I, the King of Primordials, The God himself, will grant you the honour of dying by these hands!"''

799 gritted his teeth while standing far from the Goddess. 'Emotion? Aren't you losing yourself to that same emotion?! You envious piece of shit!'

Also, wasn't it him who lazed around and didn't stop the <Storm> or whatever as stated by the girl? 799 didn't know the details, but wasn't this all this red-skinned man's fault?!

799 knew that this God was just scared of the Gamer System.

'Fuck!' He cursed internally and started to run around. The Giant Red God started to release some sort of Fire breath from his mouth while snapping his fingers occasionally. Only the system was there to let 799 know what he was trying to achieve by snapping his fingers.

The Primordial was breathing heavily as he said, ''"Little guy, you are lucky I can't use my 100% at this place. The will of the cube universe is interfering."''

The giant God's hands didn't have any fingers anymore; they were destroyed from each snap—though they would heal soon. He was still using his breath attack though, while the Goddess was still trying to hit 799, albeit injured.

The young soul was jumping around—trying his best to dodge the attacks as they did hurt even though it didn't damage him, to no avail.

While dodging he would sneak glances at the roulette now and then. It had passed some worlds like ‘Naruto’, ‘DxD’, ‘Marvel’, ‘Power Rangers’, etc…

He wasn't even interested in which world he would go to, he just wanted the spin to end faster. He wanted to escape, that's all!

A few minutes passed as the Primordial yelled.

''"LITTLE MORTAL! YOU ARE AS ANNOYING AS THAT BASTARD!! I AM NOW ANGRY!"''

Meanwhile, a sword flew through 799's head like butter, while it hurt like hell, it couldn’t make 799 bleed. While he was jumping around for so long his legs started to hurt!

"Huff..." 799 was breathing heavily while running. 'At least I am getting some benefits!'

Gasping for air, 799 kept doing what he was doing, running.

By now, other gods had arrived. They weren't giants like him so they could enter this "Zone". Still, they were severely weakened and were just a few fold stronger than a normal human’s in this zone.

799 was even shackled by their powers and artifacts a few times before but it seemed the 'Invulnerability' also had the 'Free' property which burned the shackles from existence! No God tried to hold him down by themselves since they seemed to be scared of being burned just like the shackles! For that reason, the young man was able to get away.

Now less than a minute was left of Invulnerability—and the Gods knew this, one of them with the power of comprehension had guessed that this perk of his would end soon enough.

And they were right. [Invulnerability–00:47]

'Fuck... just stop, you stupid wheel!'

The rolling was slow and seemed like it would stop anytime now. Everyone attacked the young man, as the Giant God decided to do something more efficient. This could hurt his soul a little, but he would definitely achieve what he wanted.

A red fog got released from his body which engulfed the whole space, along with the roulette! While under the fog, aside from everyone's gaze, the roll stopped at–

Meanwhile, the Giant God clasped his fingerless palms together and clenched his teeth, blood dripping from the corners of his lips.

Meanwhile, a magic circle appeared under 799, as his Invulnerability was about to run out.

A barrier made of light appeared at the borders of the whole teleportation circle, stopping any God from getting inside.

[Ding! Invulnerability 00:00 seconds!]

Invulnerability ran out, now 799 was vulnerable. However, the golden barrier was the next level of defence on its own—so he was still fine against normal attacks.

Just as the Invulnerability ran out, his body started to float within the teleportation circle. However, even though the defence of the Golden light was high, the giant God had ways of his own.

He, who was clasping his hands together, yelled with blood dripping down his lips. ''"<‹Divine Curse of the Gods!›>''"

Zzz!

The Golden Light of the teleportation circle became dark for a second, before returning to normal. However, by then, the man had vanished.

Seeing this, Primordial's eyes grew up as he yelled, ''"No! It didn't work?! We don't even know which world he went to!"''

Meanwhile, 799's lost his mind as a message appeared in his retina-- [Host has been affected by the 'Curse of Primordial' Gamer Body failed to reject the curse]

Another message soon appeared, but by then, the soul of 799 had lost its consciousness.
