We've been crazy busy for a couple of weeks now, slammed with getting out four art shows, two of which are going on this weekend!

Soonercon and AnthroCon this weekend, then Convergence, and finally San Diego Comic Con towards the end of the month.

This photo shows three of the shows (Soonercon had already gone out). We mail our prints, pendants, pins, and sometimes originals to various art shows throughout the year. It just happens that July is a super busy month for shows.

Getting ready to send to these shows can often take a week of time for -each- show. That is because we have to decide what we are sending based on the space we paid for (panels usually), then we have to print and mat all the prints and any originals, package any pendants or pins for display, work out the projected panel layouts, then do the control and bid sheets and attach them. Once that is all done, then we have to package everything up and ship it.

It may not seems like all that much, but I assure you it's a huge, huge effort every time. And we just sent out to four shows.

Now it's all hands on deck to get ready to get Sandra to Pennsic War at the end of the month. This will be the 50th Anniversary and our last show there! It's going to be a pretty big deal, so we will be prepping in earnest for that.

While I'm working on Pennsic stuff I will also be doing some new art and playing catch up to all the other things that have been set aside for Art Show Panic, including owed rewards and coloring pages, etc.

I'm pretty exhausted, but I'm already back to work because those donuts won't make themselves ;)
