I'm a little late (again) this month, but there has been just a lot going on (does it ever let up?). But before I get into that, here are your rewards for June!

The rainbow Wuffie patch came out just so damned cute, and it's perfect for the Pride month of June, so the gift tiers are getting one of these absolutely adorable patches!

If you already have one, or ordered one on the Wuffies Pins campaign, you can choose another patch if you like. I have the Werwuffie, Lycanthropus (black only), Werewolf Skeleton, and maybe a Pumpkin King hanging around. Just let me know and I will see what I can do!

The mini print for the month is a little 5 X 7 of "Vineyard Thief", because it just says Summer Solstice to me.

If you are still waiting on any rewards, my sincere apologies. I am still getting caught up with some of you after the fiasco that was our May.

So let's recap. At the beginning of May I told you all about the plumbing issue that was happening in our house. Well here is how it went:

They literally jackhammered a trench into our living room and a little into the kitchen. Then they -almost- were going to do the kitchen as well, but that was nixed at the last moment. They fixed the gray line and the water line that were, for some fucking reason, buried under the house, and then back-filled the trench with dirt and topped it with cement. We had to keep ourselves and the pets partitioned off into the back area (bedrooms) of the house while they were doing this.

Most of this time we had to use my bathroom as a makeshift kitchen, and my studio as a makeshift living room (it's big enough where Sandra and I and the cats and dogs could all hang/eat meals/watch TV in). Yes we were in-house the entire time they were working.

There was a lot of back-and-forth with things, selecting tile and arranging for a flooring guy to come in, which ended up being two flooring guys, and then that was nixed altogether by the landlord (we still have a cement runway in our living room, which we get to tile ourselves now). And since our lease was up by June 1st our landlord, to recoup his losses, raised our rent considerably, and told us he is selling in April next year after he repeatedly told us he wanted us to be long-term renters. So that means we get to move again in March of next year... *internal screaming*  --.--

So that was our May. To say things have been distressful and disruptive is an understatement.

We have since been putting our house back together after -considerable- cleaning by ourselves (the dust from the project was -everywhere-. It was SO bad DX), and trying to get some semblance of peace back into our home.

Now we have not one but FOUR art shows to mail to by the end of the month: Soonercon, Convergence, AnthroCon, and San Diego Comic Con. Getting ready to mail to one of these shows takes a lot of prep, and paperwork, and can sometimes take us a whole week working on them to get them out. And we have four. 6.9

We are also getting ready to get Sandra back to Pennsic War (an SCA event near Pittsburg, PA every year). It is their 50th Anniversary and our last year there. This is a huge deal, and so it is taking a lot of time and investment to really pull this show off well. It will take all of July to prepare for, and she will hit the road that last weekend of July.

Meanwhile, while she is doing that, I will stay home with the furkids and will be working earnestly on a 25th Anniversary book of my artwork. This will be a big project and one that is definitely due. More on that later.

So yeah. Fun times. My plate runneth over, but at least I should have arts to show you guys soon. Working on some new stuff that should hopefully turn out cool. I am working on art as I can, including commissions. But right now it's all the matting, printing, paperwork, boxing, shipping, and trying to keep on top of our HOLY SHIT schedule of All-That-Needs-Doing.

I hope you are all having a great summer (or winter for our Aussies), and you are all staying well. I will have more to share with you soon.
