Is it Monday again already? No, it's actually Tuesday now.

I was going to post this yesterday but I had to take my husband to the hospital, because he hasn't been feeling well lately and it's affecting his chest, which is not the sort of thing that's okay to ignore.

He seems healthy, and the doctors ruled out anything serious, thankfully, but anyway, yeah! Any time any form of hospital is involved, it's just not a fun weekend.

I didn't make any progress on Volume #1 last week, but I DID manage to update the backdrop for character sheets and crank out two out of the remaining 8.

... And I may have also gotten a head start on Riley's next comic page.

I still don't really know how many Volume #1 pages I can finish in a given week. I was going to spend this week trying to find out, but I'm already a few days behind now, so it's an atypical week to begin with.

Drawing: Volume#1 pages

Playing: WoW some more

Reading: Mistborn (still)

Volume 1: 10/72 Pages Remastered

Next Character Sheets: Martin and Michael

Ramble:

I've started teaching our 15-year old cat to walk on a leash for a few minutes each day. Why? Because I can. And because the internet seems to suggest that this is a thing that people can actually do.

Poseidon seems really curious about going outside, and he's shown an interest in playing in the snow. I've let him wander out briefly just to see what he'd do, and he heads straight over to the biggest snow mound he can see and then he tries to climb it. Now, I'm not comfortable with letting him wander around on his own and potentially getting lost, stolen, frozen or eaten. He isn't very bright, after all, and he's never been outside for more than a few minutes at a time. So I think the leash is a good solution to this problem. Plus it'll give me a reason to go outside more with him and the both of us can get some sunlight.

Looking into this, of course, I've learned all about how walking a cat is very different than walking a dog. Cats aren't going to heel, or obey, or pay much attention to you at all. You're just there to follow them and see where they go and what they do while they do their best to pretend that they are a tiny tiger romping about in the jungle they own.

Poseidon has been very tolerant so far. He's getting used to his harness and he doesn't seem to mind dragging the leash around when it's on, even when I pick it up and tug on it a little, so some day soon I think I'll take him out to romp about in the snow and see how he does.
