Featherscape's Birthday Month! 🎂💕 (Patreon)

Hello everyone! Man, April went by fast... But now it's May! Summer's around the corner, school's getting out, and Featherscape is having a birthday! Whoo!

Okay, I really don't go all out for my birthday, I'm just feigning that hyper train since not much else is happening 😅 That being said, big things are still coming! And I'd like to go over what I have planned for the month.

First off, the CYOA is coming soon. Within a few days, tops. You'll have one at the start of the month and another at the end. Same with early release stories, with one hopefully being uploaded a little later today. Two more are still coming, along with the Exclusive! A lot of stories and a lot of commissions are still on the way. I'm never short on ideas, be them either mine or other people's ^-^. What has presented a challenge, however, is the new habit of Patreon shutting down content that is presented as non-con. A lot of stories have been, and will continue to be, non-con, but as I am trying to be wary over the new policies, and looking into shifting to other content sharing sites, I still have to dance around these loose eggshells. So there will likely be a rise in con stories over non-con stories until I can find better distribution means. If anyone has any suggestions for what I can do to navigate around these policies, I am all ears!

I know I've said that I've been trying to streamline the Sorority Collection, and I have been by working on the newest chapter of Holly the Housekeeper, but it's since been put on a slight hold in favor of commissions. Likewise, this month will be focused on commissions along with working on a new book that I hope to release this summer. It hasn't been announced yet, as it's still in drafting, but it will be a project produced by Agencies, who produce the Yelena comic series for which I've been writing the latest issues. I can say confidently it won't be out this month, or even probably next month, but I'd like to aim to finish by the end of July. Even then, however, the text will go to Agencies, who will then proceed with the editing, art, and distribution process, so I don't have really any idea as to when exactly that'll be out, only when this large-scale job will be finished on my end.

We were going to do a Featherscape Birthday special this month, but scheduling conflicts have made it difficult... The idea was to continue the Featherscape Moemon Nuzlocke that I started back in September. For those that don't remember, or weren't there, I decided to do a special livestreamed playthrough of Mega Moemon FireRed where I named all the characters after characters from my own stories to grow especially close to them. While I will go into a more in-depth breakdown later, I'll just say that it wasn't finished... We didn't lose... yet, but we did end the session after a particularly nasty slaughter at the hands of Erika. Many beloved Featherscape characters perished in that battle, or were tickled into a coma, whichever works better. But there's still hope to get ahead, we just haven't picked it up since that initial session. That was the intention for this month, but I will give people more time to prepare by pushing it into June, likely Sunday, June 2nd.

So, for this month's poll, I'm going to let you guys decide what I do for my birthday! I feel you'd all love for me to stay working, but I know, from how supportive you've all been regarding my workload and health and whatnot, that many of you would rather not see me burn myself out. That being said, with this month being somewhat special, that I'll let you decide how it is I spend my birthday. I'll certainly talk about it in the Discord server, but I may even post pics to show that I'm doing what you all want.
