Steph learns more about how the bots and the hair salon. She seems to just let people do things to her. Is she a sub, or the last couple trades just make her accept things because it's good social media content?

I may have to stop reading this comic. It's good, don't get me wrong, buflt I've been having a pretty crap year myself and I don't really want to see someone I've grown to like suffering as well.

I understand. I can be a little hard on my protagonists. Try to balance the successes and hardships.

Wyatt could have backed out, albeit with social pressure. I don’t see Stephanie as being submissive necessarily but rather generally not having an interest in controlling the outcome. Wyatt seemed bored, hated his job, streamed (so they wanted *some* attention, clearly) somewhat semi-successfully. Seemed like a person that wasn’t opposed to some radical changes. Disregarding societal and familial reactions she doesn’t seem too upset by most of it. We’ve seen her get mad for example when xavier/rat-one swapped something while she was not there. So she can out her foot down. Seems like more of a go with the flow kind of reaction. I could be wrong🤷‍♂️

I think Steph really actively chose this when she picked her name. She said she wanted to this and experience it. That is likely where she had the moment to stop it and undo everything and she chose to continue.
