It's due time that we get to spend some time with Tiffany. Tiffany was in the background in the first few pages, ignored by Steve and the others. But she's friendly enough to want to meet a new friend who could use her help.

Also, Kayla is missing???

I'll still put the entire update in this post, but next few days there will be individual updates for each page.

It's good to see Tiffany taking an active role. Maybe she and Gwen should have breakfast together? The dress with a (lightning) flash seems a good choice... and as ever there are some wonderful expressions as Gwen deals with the visitors to her table. Do we know much about the 'Double Feature' book Ken wrote and drew? Is it two stories, or does the heroine on the cover have some sort of double power...?

Thanks! I'm glad to finally get Tiffany into the action. Ken made the book all on his own. Gwen knows she's turning back to Ken after the weekend, and doesn't want to take any credit or confuse people. Double Feature is a play off of the Rocky Horror line "Science fiction double feature". As far as the content of the story, we will have to wait and see.

I must say that I did eventually think of Duo Damsel from the Legion of Super-Heroes as a possible role-model for Double Feature... but there is only one of her on the cover we see... Um, does one have to be over a certain age to always think of the movie title "Breakfast at Tiffany's" when that particular name come up...?

I'm not familiar with Damsel. Legion has never been as much of my jam. Sturkwurk is a bit more of a fan of those guys. But there is a vague reference to one of them later this month in our updates. I'm a fan of pulp novels, so it's a bit more of that vibe. I took cover inspiration from that. Breakfast at Tiffany's is a classic. Everyone should be aware of it.

Duo Damsel was able to split into two identical heroines, which was a handy if minor superpower... originally she was Triplicate Girl, but one of the forms got destroyed. I'm in a Facebook group that goes for pulps and old paperbacks - some nice The Shadow covers turn up, both the paperback reprints and the original magazines from the thirties and forties, and I posted the covers of a collection on Lester Dent, the man behind Doc Savage of course, only yesterday.

Ah, I didn't realize she was the same as Triplicate Girl. I know of her. There are a lot of fun pulp covers out there!
