This week's image

More new Kimiko night service! This one's actually for a scene you may have seen (if you've played the alpha) but I've decided to add this new image to it, move the image I had in the scene back to an earlier one and add another earlier stage. Basically that's because I couldn't see a way to up the ante on this particular scene without pushing it too far and encroaching onto the territory of the sex scene, but I decided I didn't really need to.

If that's all a bit confusingly phrased then I apologise, but I think you'll understand what I mean when you see this scene in the game.

I'm back!

So I'm back now and I'll be getting back to work on the game soon. I did do a reasonable amount of work on my trip, but there was some stuff I couldn't do because I use a desktop PC, not a laptop, and therefore couldn't bring my computer with me.

Right now I'm actually just physically recovering from my trip; I was heavily jetlagged when I got home and I also caught a cold overseas. The flight back seemed to weaken me and made my otherwise mild cold into something rather nasty, so I'm dealing with that right now.

Like I say, though, I'll be back to business as usual pretty soon. High on my list will be checking the night service system - I've heard it's not working right with the level 5 responses, which is annoying because that was a large reason I put out the latest version.

New short game idea

I've mentioned I have a new short game idea; I'm going to try to develop this as a sort of background project, possibly in connection with the AIF writing salon and minifest (or maybe not). I won't let it impede too much my development time on PAL, I just feel like I can spare an hour or two here and there to actually write up some new stuff, so putting together a short game would be a good way to channel that energy and would also give me something new to release, as well as giving me a bit of a creative break.

Still looking for useful forums to release the game

I mentioned last week that my release strategy depends largely on forums that are outside my control. This is purely because there are certain places where players congregate and I naturally need to get my games out to those players (you guys). I assume more or less everyone found me through one forum or another, unless maybe a few people picked up on me through Kimochi. Anyway, while I'd like a more centralised option where I could actually reach people who might enjoy an interesting free porn game, I've reverted back to the forums as my (more or less only) approach. if you know of anywhere else that I don't know about that might be a good hosting site/forum for release then please let me know!

I gave a shot at trying some forums I haven't got much attention or activity from in the past: specifically the Undertow Club, Hongfire and Fenoxo's Forum. I don't seem to have got any attention on those this time either, so they might be a bit of a waste of time. I also tried a new adult games subreddit, (new as in it's new to me) but that didn't result in anything much either. Still, that doesn't mean I'm not going to keep trying with them or with other new groups, even though I expect the main ones for me will still continue to be the Shark's Lagoon, the Legend of Krystal forums, ULMF and of course the classic AIF forums like the AIF Archive.

File hosting

Hosting is actually another issue, because the game file size is quite large. I used depositfiles for the demo because it allows me to upload without having to have an account, but I would rather upload somewhere that I have under more control. I was very happy that I was able to host Let Me In here on the Patreon site, but that's because it's a much smaller game and fit under the file limits here.

I was really happy about the potential hosting option of Kimochi, but I understand that their situation was difficult and fortunately I wasn't pinning all my hopes on it or anything.
