UPDATE: I've put up my free game links at my other site, over at the AIF community. I can't link that here, as far as I can tell, but it's easy to find.

If you haven't noticed, I've put all links behind the paywall and also a lot of public posts. This isn't something I wanted to do, I'm just trying to comply as much as possible with Patreon's rules, since they've just recently changed their enforcement policies.

I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to handle distribution from now on; I guess I'll work something out. It will hurt my ability to advertise my work to potential patrons a lot, but that's the way it is. I suspect this current enforcement phase can't really last; it'll likely either lapse back to minimal enforcement or ultimately become a much more strict crackdown. I don't know which yet, but I'm trying to comply.

I mean honestly I hate dealing with this kind of thing, even at the best of times; one of Patreon's big selling points is supposed to be that it just lets you get to work without having to worry too much about the funding side. It's a stressful situation, but stay tuned. I'm planning to get a new public release of LMO out soon, somehow.

Better to keep the patreon tyrants away now rather than getting hit later...like at release of a new version of any game.

They have been restoring pages after some changes are made, but I agree - better to avoid a suspension rather than provoke one unnecessarily.

At the very least, allow people to opt into an adult only experience. The adult content here is one of the most unique aspects of patreon, they should help it grow, not hide it under the rug.

That would be good. It looks like they're not exactly trying to ban people right now, though, so much as to get people to remove posts that violate their terms of service. It makes it a little harder to advertise right now, but it's not necessarily going to change very much.
