I'm not sure if this is a good idea or a bad idea so I thought I'd ask you. What if I used my name on a game title, similar to "Sid Meier's Civilization"? Nobody knew who Sid Meier was before he did that, by the way. I several reasons for considering it in this case.

The best way to answer this would be for you to imagine you came across someone else you haven't heard of doing it while you were looking through adult games on a forum. If you saw a game called something like, JJJoe's Stupid Cupid what would you think? Would you find it conceited or dumb? Or would you think that this JJJoe character must be someone with a good reputation? Some other reaction? Or none at all?

Most importantly, would it make you more or less likely to check out the game than if it was just called Stupid Cupid?

I've got no problem with the idea. Author's have their names on book covers, movie posters often have the main actors/actresses names on them. Nothing wrong with getting your name out there. As for how it'll effect my likelihood to check it out... that depends. If it's someone I've never heard of, well it's not going to affect me either way. If it's someone I don't like, well it'll probably steer me away from it. BUT if it's someone I DO like t'll make it far more likely I'll check it out. It wouldn't be the first time I've check out something I'd have otherwise not bothered with solely because I liked the people involved.
